Meet BALIBOT — a mobile-based AI assistant designed to support asset management, preventive maintenance, and day-to-day fieldwork. While it lives in your phone, Balibot is built to become a constant companion for the Balibago Waterworks team, guiding them through critical procedures and making work safer, faster, and more efficient.

Balibago Waterworks, in partnership with TeamSolve, is taking a groundbreaking step forward by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its Asset Management and Preventive Maintenance operations — making it the first water service provider in the Philippines to integrate AI into its operations. This milestone marks an exciting new chapter in the company’s journey toward innovation and service excellence.

A Milestone for Innovation

The launch was celebrated across seven pilot sites: Apalit, Arayat, Arayat Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Capas, Main Office, San Simon, and Sto. Tomas WTP. These locations will be the first to experience how Balibot transforms field operations.

“We are proud to be the first water service provider in the Philippines to integrate AI into our operations,” said Balibago Waterworks President, Criselle P. Alejandro. “Balibot is not here to replace people — it’s here to help us work smarter, safer, and better.”

How Balibot Helps

Balibot provides on-demand guidance for tasks such as:

  • Safety Toolbox Meetings

  • Corrective Maintenance Procedures

  • Preventive Maintenance

  • Leak Surveys

  • Asset Checklist

It gives teams the right steps, reminders, and best practices — all accessible in seconds. When in doubt, simply ask Balibot.

Made for People, Powered by AI

Development began in August 2023 with technology partner TeamSolve, represented by Robin Wong (Chief Commercial Officer) and Alrahji Hamis (Customer Success Manager). The system was tailored to the needs of Balibago Waterworks with valuable input from the internal project team: Elizer Nacpil, Butch Paraiso, Patrick Galura, Jerzhom Mallari, John Pagulayan, and Roland Mercado.

The first adopters — the company’s plumbers, pump operators, operations supervisors, and plumbing supervisors — are paving the way for company-wide integration in the months ahead.

The Road Ahead

Balibot’s introduction is more than a tech upgrade — it’s a cultural shift toward AI-enabled, responsive, and empowered operations.

“Change is never easy,” Ms. Alejandro said. “But with patience and practice, Balibot will become an essential part of how we work every day.”

Welcome, Balibot — our newest partner in progress.
