Project 10,000

On Friday, October 16, 2026, Balibago Waterworks President Criselle P. Alejandro led around 150 volunteers in the fifth tree-planting activity of Project 10,000 at Sitio Bliss, Sapang Bato Watershed.
Joining us in this environmental initiative were our valued partners: EC Soliman, Abacan River and Angeles Watershed Advocacy Council, Inc. (ARAW), the City Environment and Natural Resources Office of Angeles City, and Nagkakaisang Guardians.
Together, we planted 1,000 seedlings, including approximately 100 bamboo seedlings. And here's the exciting part: we're halfway to our goal! With this latest activity, we have now planted 5,000 trees toward our Project 10,000 target.
In her opening address, President Alejandro highlighted the vital connection between forests and water. Trees help rainwater infiltrate the ground and replenish aquifers and rivers. She also emphasized the importance of proper wastewater and septic waste treatment in protecting our water resources. She expressed her gratitude to all the volunteers and partners who continue to serve as true environmental warriors and champions of Mother Nature.
Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who generously shared their time, energy, and passion for this cause. This milestone would not have been possible without your dedication and commitment! To those who haven't joined us yet, we warmly invite you to be part of our next tree-planting activity.
Every seedling we plant brings us one step closer to protecting our water resources and building a brighter future. This commitment reflects Balibago Waterworks' vision of becoming the most trusted name in water service in the Philippines.
