BWSI CLOSES 2018 STRONG; DAVAO TOWN AWARDS PARALLEL WATER OPERATIONS TO SBRI

Updated: Apr 1, 2019

📷 What a way to end the year! Fresh off the Buug signing in early December 2018, a modest deal was formally inked by and between SBRI President CPA and the LGU of Carmen, Davao Del Norte, on 14 December 2018 to undertake and establish a parallel Level III water system in the said 1st class town. As CPA’s counterparty in the 35-Year Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Hon. Mayor Virginia Perandos bemoaned the lacklustre operations of the extant Water District, which has been unable to improve the quality and overall levels of service in the LGU. The parallel MOA permits SBRI to serve all unserved and underserved areas in 20 barangays of the LGU.

The initial phase of development in Carmen involves developing a new groundwater supply in Barangay Sto. Nino, one of the fastest growing areas in the LGU.

Carmen punctuates what has been an ultra-hectic, ultra-inspired year of expansion for SBRI, as it marks the company’s fifth new franchise of 2018, following Mati City, Barotac Viejo, Cagayan De Oro City, and Buug.
