Balibago Waterworks System, Inc (BWSI) and South Balibago Resources, Inc. (SBRI) conveyed their support for youth development and regional competitiveness by way of sports through a recent alliance with the MVP Sports Foundation which launched the inter-provincial MVP Sports Youth Basketball League (MYBL) in Cagayan De Oro (CDO) City on 12-13 July 2019. The first MYBL leg was organised in partnership with the City Government of CDO and the CDO Basketball Federation, and envisioned to energise a broad-based grassroots developmental program that would provide local athletes and young aspirants an avenue for attaining wider recognition, marketing and training here and overseas. SBRI/BWSI, as one of the corporate sponsors, jumped on the opportunity not merely to promote the company’s brand and future operations in CDO, but also in light of longstanding engagements and affinities in sports and wellness.
